Devlog#1- weeks 2-3

I scrapped the original idea I had for my capstone game, which was 'Bone to Pick', a visual novel that teaches the player anatomy. Over the holiday break I was thinking of backup games to make just in case I do end up scrapping the anatomy game idea, which I eventually did.

Around the end of week 1 of the semester, I had an idea of creating a horror game in an art museum, inspired by solo devs on youtube creating horror games. I organized my thoughts through the Miro website and the project "Paintings, Please" was created and approved by profs.

In my capstone game, the player finds themselves trapped in a dimly lit art museum, kidnapped by an unsettling figure who refers to itself as "The Collector". The player is tasked to identify which of the paintings in the museum is fake and for now the escape method would be a password system, the number of the real paintings are the pin to enter to exit the museum.

During week 3, I was able to make the collector permanently look at the player no matter the direction, I successfully converted the third person player to first person and implemented a flashlight toggle system
